#DeltaDecides: INEC Ready For Delta Central Re-Run Elections In 56 Wards And 803 Units

The Independent National Electoral Commission, , on Friday April 24, 2015 expressed readiness to conduct supplementary elections in Central Senatorial District on Saturday April 25, 2015.

INEC returning officer, Prof. Greg Okagbare, had earlier suspended collation of results in the district citing various electoral irregularities and malpractices as reason for his action.

Elections were originally meant to be held on Saturday April 18, 2015, but the commission announced that elections would hold the following week.

National Mirror reports that elections would hold in 56 wards and 803 units of the eight councils in the district.

They are: 11 wards and 157 polling units in , two wards and four polling units in , eight wards and 106 polling units in , eight wards and 97 polling units in and nine wards and 178 polling units .

Others are five wards and 31 polling units in , five wards and 136 polling units in and eight wards and 97 polling units in .
