Suicide Bombing Kills At Least 20 In Maiduguri, Borno State

Eyewitnesses confirmed that the blast occurred at 12:15pm, killing more than 20 people and leaving several others injured.

Garba Mali told SaharaReporters on phone that “a hawker selling medicine pretended to gain access to a slaughterhouse in the market, who then detonated a bomb killing 20 people and injuring many others.”

reported that “no fewer than 30 persons have been killed and several others injured in a bomb explosion that occurred in Maiduguri, the Borno capital, on Tuesday.”

For , “the bomb was said to been concealed under a butchers table in a meat market.”

As at the time of filing this report, President was yet to release a statement on the suicide bomb attack.
